Details just fell into place regarding a residency that I'll be doing at Bascom Lodge in July. This is a lodge atop Mount Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts. I was there in 2015 and got some pretty significant work done. My project this time, in addition to painting, will be to work on a comics poetry book that will debut at the 2018 Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, affectionately known as MICE, in October.
In related news, I got into MICE 2018. Organizers are telling us that this has become a competitive affair. This year it accepted a third of the applicants. My thanks to the selection committee for the honor.
