This looks fantastic, Franklin. A rare piece I'd really like to see in person. It has a touch of Gauguin, as Darby says; although I've never been fond of Gauguin myself, and this looks better.
I'd still like to see some drawings where you concentrate on Katie's face. Judging by her photos her face is really, really interesting. Also pretty, but interesting. I wish I could have drawn her when I was at the top of my form. I could get back there, I guess, if I wanted.

Excellent line and color. A number of Modernist masters come to mind but that doesn't matter very much. I don't see any weak spots. Terrific painting, in reproduction at least.

Gouache is one of the most unforgiving mediums on earth. Good job. The twist in her torso is excellent.
