Let it be known that a week from this Friday, February 24, at 6:30 PM, I will be speaking on this month's installment of The Review Panel, the ongoing, star-studded series organized and moderated by the redoubtable David Cohen of Artcritical.

Germane information is available at Artcritical as well as the public program page for the National Academy Museum and School, which is hosting the event.

My co-panelists are Faye Hirsch, senior editor at Art in America, and Christina Kee, a painter and writer in Brooklyn who authored the catalogue essay for the imminent Jack Bush exhibition at FreedmanArt.

We are slated to discuss Mary Corse at Lehmann Maupin, Ridley Howard: Slows at Leo Koenig, Glenn Goldberg at Jason McCoy, and Joyce Pensato: Batman Returns at Friedrich Petzel.

No reservations are required but seating is first-come, first-served. I look forward to seeing you there.

Congratulations! give 'em hell.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with comments. I am supposed to be on sabbatical and it seems to mean that everyone can take my time for whatever reason.

I would like to go on record as stating that Joyce Pensato's show looks profoundly stupid.
