Well, there's gotta be a Jenny Holzer angle here. Of course, I guess you'd need to go digital display, and throw in a story about the victimization of women by the computer age. It could fly.

Or, you could ditch the jQuery, do the same drawing in sanguine or sepia on cream ivory paper, and call it The Repentant Magdalen. That wouldn't get you as far, perhaps, but I'd like it better. I'm rather fond of repentant Magdalens; they're like comfort food.

The long drawing I did today was in pencil with gouache highlights on medium-gray paper, but it was too big to put on the scanner. I'll see if I can shoot it tomorrow.

Technical question: If I take chunks of dried paint and collage them onto a painting, am I making a collage or a painting?
Technical question #2: Does it matter what we call it?

It doesn't matter. But it sounds more like the painting aspect is dominant.

I hope this means you're making more of those, TG.

Yup, making more of those. Tough hoeing lately in the studio but its a thrill that only costs a dime, plus materials and of course the human toll. Damn Stella was right this does get kind of pricy.

What is jQuery? Some sort of computer language?
