Condolences from me, too. What an absolutely delightful picture that is, though.

Wait, I just noticed it's from I-70. An even better tribute - the pal in action.

Oh, I see - I'd missed the link before. That's such a perfect thing to see today - amid whatever you're feeling now, Franklin, I hope that having created something that beautiful and happy makes you feel a little better.

Condolences Franklin. 16 is a pretty long life for a dog. We wish they lasted longer. It's a beautiful panel.

So sorry Franklin and Dawn. I am happy to have at least met your wonderful animals last year. They made your lives much richer and eventually the memory of Fergus will replace some of the pain you feel now. That's quite a picture.

The panel of your dog is celebratory. That's a fine recollection in memorium.

Fergus is chasing sticks in the big river now, though, hey.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Franklin. We now have three cats and two dogs and they are family, no bones about it. We love them each as the individuals they are and they teach us everyday. Our condolences go out to your pack.

With pets, as with people, there comes a time when simply remaining alive amounts to very little, because the quality of life is very low or nil. Sometimes, remaining alive is counterproductive. Everything has to end at some point in some manner; of course the end is sad and painful, but come it must. All the years you enjoyed having Fergus are the real point, not the fact that he's gone.
