Whew

Things have been a little hectic lately and will continue to be hectic for the next week. I spent two days in New York, where I saw, I'm not exaggerating, 26 exhibitions. (I also had lunch with Heather Darcy Bhandari.) I spent the weekend running Xalan in a shell window over and over again trying to figure out the source, then the solution, of an XSLT problem that crops up when you try to use XPath on an element with a namespace attribute. You don't know what that means, and frankly, human beings should not have to know about such things. (Here's the question at Stack Overflow if you want to take a crack at it.) This week I'm traveling to the FATE conference in Portland, Oregon to deliver a paper that I will post online afterwards, Friday afternoon. So the blog could be a bit of a scramble. You've been advised.
