I agree Chris - the lettering really makes this one. The strokes and the way they're piled up, show, visually, what he's talking about in words. And it's what he doesn't show in the images. That "off a" looks like falling rocks. But what he draws are big walls of rock. Nice. I also like the hole in the rocks looking like an "O". The image and text mixing up a bit.
I'm a little confused about the "people" he mentions - I'm thinking it's when we see people or faces in a rock or cloud. That confusion, for me, is good - he holds the piece together with the stuff mentioned above and the nice meter of the words. And that lovely red.

The lettering struck me too. There's a bit of bleed or a more ragged edge (paper change-up maybe?) to it in this one and it helps the text sit comfortably. Nice colour, as usual Franklin.

Nice. I'd like to see them 8 feet square.

Great idea opie. Then they become an overwhelming experience in addition to being "read."

I like it. I like the lettering especially, which may sound odd, but I think lettering is really important.
Of course it immediately conjures up connections with T.S. Eliot, which are at odds with the bright panels.
