I'm working up a special deal for a review of the Memling show at the Frick, which I had the good fortune to catch this weekend. That goes up tomorrow. I take the rest of the week off, then next week, I put up special deals for the Van Gogh drawing and Fra Angelico shows at the Met, the latter of which hit me with an episode of Stendhal Syndrome. Damn, that was a good show.
In the meantime:
- The Oxford American devoted its Fall 2005 issue to southern art and architecture. If you live in the south and you're the magazine-subscribing type, consider this one.
- Thanks to Warren for the great comics!
- I think mine came out better.

Well, Franklin, all I'm having are instances of the "It's your fault; you should know what to expect by now" syndrome.

Well, it's like, I go see a show at a place which is a "known problem," I'm disappointed, and then it hits me: "It's your fault..."

Well....at least they exist...don't you think that art should be attainable for everyone at every level?

Thanks for the Senate bill info George.
This is the first time that has changed since 1969, and it is a big boost for museums and for artists lucky enough to be selling work.
