Saturday I went to the Cycladic Museum and later flew into Charles de Gaulle. I met up with an old friend from my grad school days who now works at Unesco headquarters in Paris. That night was Nuit Blanche, an all-night Paris-wide cultural festival, and I hung out with one old and four new friends until 3 am walking around the streets that had been illuminated for the occasion.
Speaking of 3 am, I woke up irrecovably this morning a little before then, so my first day back at school may be awash in coffee.
I’m back. I’m ready to paint and get some work done. Thank you, Europe, and thank you, Aegean Center, for having me.
