I like the watercolors in these "strips" well enough. There is a sentiment about the texts that share a lot with Paul Madonna's "All over coffee" drawings (example) that have been published regularly over the last few years in the San Francisco Chronicle.
Sentiment isn't a bad word on its own, but when the sentiment is a bit precious, and that preciousness is public, then that's not so good, and that is turning me off a bit here. Though I will readily admit to having regularly had the same kinds of feelings being expressed in this current strip I try to hold them in-check because sharing them seems to me a kind of cliched sensitivity. That's my take here, and thanks for putting up with the critique; still, there's the watercolors.

Looks familiar.
You know what I'm missing in these TMFOM strips, sensitive as they are? I'm missing the rectangle, the frame. I think both the browser and monitor (frames in their own right) steal attention in an unwanted way. It helps a little to punch F11 on this wide screen I'm looking at, but then the whole thing gets a little high off centre.

Sorry - picture-stories, not cartoons or comics. Maybe the weird word "comix".
These are nice and I look forward to the journey - it's a great idea and so far well done. The attention to the words, the meter, mirrors the rhythm of the images. I also like the set type (instead of written) against the very handmade images.
I don't miss panel borders on this, it seems more open like the trip might have been. I agree there can be weirdness depending on the other thing opne on the screen. These need lots of white space, I agree.

I am enjoying these latest The Moon Fell on Me cartoons more and more, Franklin, though I'm not sure I should call them cartoons. They have a sparse haiku like quality that I can only wonder at and envy, a little bit. Thank you for sharing them.
